This proposal for a rural home in Tanzania allows the large Jorejick family to start building their new home immediately without waiting for full funds to become available. Through an incremental approach, it sets an example of affordable healthy housing for rural Tanzania, raising bedrooms to reduce moquito bites, removing smoke from cooking areas and providing sustainable resource manangement. The design also introduces construction techniques for the family to learn, capitalise on and spread locally.
