Our Studio
Incremental Urbanism is an architecture and urban design practice based in Oxford.
Incremental Urbanism works to build less and build better. We are creating a new practice of architecture and urban design that values step-by-step change, existing built fabric, and people focussed design as a means to tackle the climate crisis, economic challenges, and make better places.
The studio was founded by Charlie Palmer on a methodology of diversity and collaborative co-creation. We create accessible, people-led spaces through investigation, engagement, design, delivery, and post-occupancy support.
Our Approach
Incremental Urbanism = Better Places
Thinkers, facilitators, spatial designers but most of all, storytellers, Incremental Urbanism, through a thoughtful and conversational process, build inclusive spaces and make change accessible.
To address the climate crisis we need to build less + build better
We build places people like by designing for change and including people in the process.
